Furlong here posting from Terengganu. Found a new potential spot for downhill skateboarding. It's located at Taman Metropolitan Kepong. Some inline skaters from Skateline forum got together to skate there and took some photos. The downhill stretch looks decent enough to try. joeysze.multiply.com/photos/album/18 |

the downhill part is just about 200meters or less....it's not really at Kepong la..if you were from Gombak..after the fly over with round about beneath it was the exit to KL and Rawang / selayang right..just straight ahead and u will see this Tmn just before the closed MRR2 highway..it's on the left side..if you were from Damansara / Sg Buloh it's on the right side...
every petang u can see people playing the modern kits there...

Memang lah kitorang tak takut, kalau takut apasal kitorang masih ride? Kitorang pakai deck lain lah, longboard dan speedboard untuk downhill skateboarding, bukan trickboard atau shortboard. Sebab tu lah bagi kitorang, deck yang digunakan lagi stable sebab wheelbase dia yg lagi panjang. Aku tau, sebab aku pernah downhill pakai shortboard, memang wobble gila, dah lah laju tu tak seberapa. Bila ko bomb downhill laju2 pakai longboard, memang rasa confident. Tapi ko kena tau camner nak brake lah.....either ko footbrake menggunakan tapak kasut atau buat "Coleman" slide dgn "pendulum" slide guna sliding glove. Anyway, just to let you all know.
