2nd April 2006 - After a day of night skating in KL. I was invited to have a riding session with some of my friends and also Wan Kedah's Friends fo a downhill riding session on Sunday morning at 8am. The downhill is about 250 meters down!!! Riders involved: Skaters - Boy Cina aka Boy Ipoh Surf / Carv Boarders - Ipin and helmi Street Luger / downhill skaters - Abdil There are plenty of carving downhill riders but most of them have personal occasion so few of us here just had the fun!!! (some of this carving/downhill riders was few members of old school skaters from the early 90's BB All Star team. Most of them were surfers nowdays and they only play ride downhill / carving boarding). Pic below by Ariffin (Ipin): The downhill view from above. It might look not so steep in the pic but try to ride there and see for yourself!!!  Abdil the only street luge rider in Malaysia. But this time he did it by standing...  Me starting to enjoy carving!!!  Abdil break his records that day with 32kmph  I did it 33.3kmph!!! It's not my record coz i've never check my speed before!!  Dogtown bebeh...  The end line with a bum...  carving backside...  carving frontside  |

Hey Boy,
Nice post! I'm at Permata in Bangi now. Lucky there's internet access here in the computer labs. The labs are used for the e-learning courses for training new employees.
Just to let you know though, after you and Ipin left, I broke my record again with a max speed of 37 km/h! But like I said, the GPS isn't really accurate, so it is actually underestimating our actual speed. I know this because Martin Siegrist said he got up to 85 km/h at Bukit Tinggi with his GPS whereas I got only 76 km/h on mine at the same place. And I should be faster than him coz I'm on a luge!
Also a correction to your post: the hill is 400 meters, not 250 meters.
Hope more people in Malaysia will be interested in downhill riding a.k.a. gravity sports!

welcome to the forum..sorry for the wrong info...i thought it was 250 meters long...400m huh...let's do it again sumtimes..i managed to contact few Singaporean downhill long board rider...most of hem were surfers and skateboader too..they normally surf in johor only...but maybe we can jam someday and they said they can make it happen..let's do it...

Boy iklan tarak berita sorry. Bila nak downhill call or sms aku, aku tengah merempon. downhill the old days bkt ceylon sampai wisma budiman. i wish my building.
